• You will attend the MIS Colectomy Immersion Course with an open mind to new ideas and innovations.
• Upon completion of the MIS Colectomy Immersion Course, you will establish a follow-up plan with your Faculty Mentor.
• Following the MIS Colectomy Immersion Course, you will send two unedited/de-identified videos (not containing any personally identifiable information of the patient) of your first two MIS colectomy cases to your assigned Faculty Mentor for joint review. This process may continue by sending additional videos until you and your Faculty Mentor agree it is no longer needed.
• You will be open to proctoring by your Faculty Mentor.
• You will submit a data sheet for each of your first 10 MIS colectomy cases.
• You will be offered the opportunity to submit future cases into the MIS Colectomy Registry, which you will learn more about during the program.

• Trainee will attend the training course inclusive of a didactic and cadaveric lab.
• Post course, trainee will commit to establishing a followup plan with their faculty mentor to perform 5-10 HALS myomectomy or hysterectomy cases.
  • At a minimum, 5 cases will be assessed by faculty through an on-line GAS video proctorship.
  • Global Assessment Score (GAS) forms will be utilized through a dedicated portal by both trainee and faculty for video case assessment.
